MANUFACTURING

We utilize horizontal machining centers as our main processing equipment.  Ductile and gray iron castings are fixtured in the HMCs as rough material or can be qualified prior to the machining centers.
The machining centers have a maximum work piece diameter of 31.5" and height of 39".  Maximum payload is 1,320 lbs.  All HMCs have a boom and hoist at the pallet changer.
All HMC spindles are CAT50.  Tool magazines have expanded capacity up to 178 tools.
After machining, castings go to a finishing cell for burr and chip removal, wash, and dry.
If required, subsequent component assembly is done at a work station equipped with gravity storage.
The last steps of processing are hydraulic testing, final inspection, and packaging.  Job travelers follow products through processing to provide instruction and document inspection.
